Wyoming Sunset
The Wyoming varieties were bred by Loney Kennedy who died last year. We were not related but when we saw each other we said "Hello, cuzzin."

Thank you for that information. My source told me "I got Wyoming Sunset from a grower in the area who said she named it and it was their farm original but I don't know the name of that grower."
My source is located in Belfair.

Wyoming Wedding was Loney's most popular seedling.

I had not heard that Loney died. I loved his Wyoming Wedding but the last plants I obtained of it were not as nice as when it first came out. And I could never keep it going from tubers...

Northend 100th is still a no show for me here. On the other hand, Heather is blooming (I believe Heather is named after Mr Jacenko's daughter). It's not fully open yet, though.

Heather is named after Mr Jacenko's daughter. I believe so. He distributed a lot of Heather tubers to different clubs.

Not a show flower, not a lot of depth, but great color for use as a wedding flower
Vivian Connell told me that Les had the Tahoma Early Dawns planted where their door opened right out to the garden and how much she enjoyed seeing them while they were eating breakfast. IT is such a delicate looking flower and I have gotten a few seedlings from it I think. I love their Stellar Fellow also. I know I have some nice seedlings from it. You have some lovely varieties there!

This new seedling keeps getting better and better. It blooms white but the sunshine develops the pink pigment. The blooms are large 4-5". I was worried the heads would become too heavy from the recent rains and snap the slender stems but so far so good. I'll keep an eye on it throughout the fall.

Hope it does well. My seedlings that were similar to yours have not lived up to their first year glory. One is much smaller and the other just not all that great.

That's a great color, size and form, I hope it continues to shine.

I have almost 700 seedlings planted out this year. Many still haven't bloomed and it's mid Aug. But so far I have 3 I really like 🤷â€â™€ï¸. I hope things turn around fast!

Late year here for seedlings too. We spotted a couple of nice ones yesterday and need to mark them. Not a great seedling year but we have marked several. Since the weather was brutal, the second year seedlings have had difficulties too. But I just picked a nice flower from one and it is growing tall and healthy with very nice blooms. Margaret will get a surprise when she sees it on the kitchen table.....

Love seeing all the blooms, and it definitely makes my wish list continue growing.
A few recent blooms here:
Hollyhill Augustina
River's Rosebud
Bloomquist Jean
Hollyhill Bewitched (maybe she resents being grown in a pot, my other plant in the ground is normal)
