Lots of hanging baskets!
We like hanging baskets and have many, many of them. Geraniums do very well in hanging baskets and this variety called Acapulco, is the easiest to grow of all. It does not need deadheading and is just low maintenance..

Anything that doesn't require deadheading is a dream.
Is that your seedling patch?

The waterlily rows are behind the hanging basket. Usually they would be taller but this has been a bad growing year.

Ted, does that pink WL in the front have a name?

"....pink WL in the front have a name?"
Hollyhill Pink Parfait WL Pink and right now it is a "private flower" for several reasons:
Pink WLs are "a dime a dozen" and our HH Sweet 16 is a better cut flower(although we oversold it and will not sell it this year). Show flowers in pink out there include Beginners Luck and I see there is a new one in the trial gardens this year too. HH Pink Parfait only grows 3.5 feet tall and that is too short. It also is not a real good tuber maker but does make some. I wish it was a good seed maker but it is not. We will grow it because it is very pretty.

I haven't grown "Just Married" in awhile despite buying a tuber a couple of years ago. I made a cutting and potted it. Kept it in the small pot and over the winter and through the next season and winter and here it is. Needless to say it's great for cuttings and can even handle being barely taken care of by me.

Is this sport of AC Candy (first image)worth saving? I also had a lighter pink version last year in a pot that didn't flower this year. If there are no votes to keep, I'll probably toss both sports. If I keep, I'd probably offer it in my store and only plan t again if I have room.

Lost two dahlia beds this summer to this thing... About time to downsize, anyways.

Those are some drool-worthy pics, CC. This is the first time I’ve seen anyone post a pic of AC Janis or Tahoma Tempest. How did you like them? I grew TT but it struggled. I’ll have to give it another chance next year.
I like your AC Candy sport. Looks like the backs of the petals are darker?

Love Myrtle's Brandy and cannot help but remember Myrtle Bloomfield (remember she died at 102 years old about 4 years ago)who selected the flower from her husband's seedling patch before he pulled it out. Bob Bloomfield culled more seedlings than anyone I knew. He did like a little show flower and named it MBB that stood for Myrtle and Bob Bloomfield.

My AC Candy sported to a dark solid. I rather like it! It's been stable for two seasons. It works well for burgundy orders. I see florists using it in the bridal bouquet.

I like your lighter sport too. If you want to get rid of it, I'd like to grow it along side my sport.

Here is HH Code Red next to my Coseytown Baby Cakes. The dark red helped my camera adjust well to the true colors of Baby Cakes. She's been a muted color for much of the season. This week I sold out of her for all the 'peach' orders.

Tahoma Tempest is one of those that surprised me when it bloomed. "Where did THAT come from?" Was my first several responses untl I got used to seeing it. Very unique color and form to anything else available out there. Tons of petals that keep on opening- haven't seen any blown centers yet, but it's still mid-season. Tahoma Janis is very nice, but I have to admit that the form/size/color has been overdone with many similar varieties. Here's AC Hawk from the National show, which I'm also growing... I have to look at the tags to realize it's a different variety.

Same with AC Bryan, pict in above post... Can we say, yet another AC Ben seedling? Nice and all, but... Is it really an improvement on the original?

One new variety of Ken's that caught my eye and admiration is AC QT. Still Looks like AC Ben, with an elegant incurve cactus twist. Hopefully the tubers are just as durable and plentiful.

AC QT really catchehs my eye. I Like your phrase "Elegant incurve cactus twist". What size is it?

I don't know what this is, but it's absolutely stunning. Labeled as AC Jeri.

Ken had it listed as a medium. I saw a few at the National show, and they were the same size as mine. AC Jeri, on the other hand, always grew about the same size as AC QT for me, but showed it's true giant size at National with more attention from growers that actually worked on their dahlias.

Here's a new one for me- Schizophrenic. There's really light splotchy variegation on the petals, which I think I like. The plant was kicked out of its original bed due to a huge shed that took over two of my dahlia bed this month, so it just started producing blooms, one at a time, laying in the grass. The first blooms were ravished by the mower.
