Right! I sure enjoy it in my garden! Its right on the corner of one of the raised beds where it gets a nice lot of sun and a bit more room. I think right now it has 8 blooms on it though some are starting to loose the back petals.

First year I've had a decent plant from Just Married. I snapped this right as the sun was rising this morning.

I'm thinking this is Steve Meggos even though it supposed to be Harry Meggos. I don't remember if I posted it here or not so if anything it's a repost.

Oh that I'm not sure of. I've been out of the loop as I prep to leave here. Just put the house on the market today.

Cute little flower. Bred by the other Greenway(deceased) who used Josudi as his moniker. Josudi Pluto.

Those Josudi's look good, are they vigorous plants?

Josudi varieties vary in vigor from vigorous to puny and I have dumped all but this one and this one was kept as it is pretty and grows very well. Aurora may be one of the better show varieties but I got tired of it. Too many dahlias not enough time. We have grown many of the best dahlias ever and no longer grow most of them.

So is there a third Greenway that bred Greenway’s Zoe? It recently came up in a search and I wondered if it was Ken’s and why it wasn’t an AC.
But then I think I remembered you telling a story about either Les Connell or Paul Mingus and how they used two names. I love reading the history you share, I guess I just don’t have the same brain capacity to retain all of the details!

Greenway's Zoe was introduced by a "G. Johnson" of the UK in 2014. There are lots of sports of Ryecroft Zoe and by gentleman's agreement when one names a sport you must retain part of the old name of the flower. I do not know how Greenway was put onto the name.

Two of the Snowdrop plants were over 7 feet tall this year. Gurtla Twilight, a pom from the UK was 2.5 feet tall.

My Snowdrop had 20" stems for harvesting. It was insane. I think I sold every good bloom this year. With frequent harvesting it was still a 5' plant.

Hollyhill Snowdrop: I had two plants go over 7 feet this year.

I am trying to save seeds from it but it is not a prolific seed maker. I cannot imagine a cut flower grower putting up with those short growing poms that give 6 inch stems. It is in this display that is currently on our kitchen table in the lower right position.

Observation: The plants that were nearly killed by our heatwave(115F) are now blooming and the foliage and flowers look magnificent. I hope that the tubers are good too.

Hollyhill pink pearl was one of my favorite new varieties this year. I love how it starts almost pure white and then develops the blush as it ages.
