I really loved Country Superstar this year. I prefer the blooms after their colors have blended a bit.

HH Contessa is about 3.5 to 4 feet tall for me. It's parent HH Bridget grows 5 feet tall. I have a seedling that looks a lot like Contessa that also grows about 3.5 to 4 feet tall. Yes, I consider them to be "dwarf" plants at Hollyhill.
HH Tangelo in absolute full sun is over 7 feet tall and I cannot reach the tallest blooms. It like Zarina is a bit too tall. Jitterbug(and Showtime) at about 5 to 6 feet is just right. HH Finlandia is over 6 feet tall right now.
I love HH Cotton Candy and finally we have good stock again but not enough to sell as I plan to keep it all for us. It is about 5 feet tall.
By the way, the odds that this many blooms would be on the bush and have been disbudded and previous blooms deadheaded are about a hundred to one. Not much of that going on here.

So many beauties...and my wish list continues to grow!
Hollyhill Miss White
Chimacum Julia
Ferncliff Illusion

Chimacum Julia is pretty reliable and makes some tubers(sometimes small ones but they store well). It won a big prize in an arrangement last year. HH Miss White just won some prize at an East coast show. Ferncliff Illusion is an easy grower and really good looking flower.
I bought 2 Ferncliff Illusions this year from differerent providers. One is fine, the other one is open centered...So sad....I haven't gotten down to the tags to see which provider landed the open centered one on me. I do like a good Ferncliff Illusion.
I would say that we just hit full bloom on the dahlia patch. I have every bucket I have full of flowers and they garden is still colorful! Now to figure out how to fit them all into 3 carloads! And my car is very small...Some days I just want a horse and cart to get them to market, but I wonder how long six miles would take doing that, LOL...

My Alfred C is not doing well. Be sure to collect seeds from these flowers. Icarus makes very nice seedlings. I bet dollars to donuts that trial garden entry number one at Swan Island is a seedling of Alfred C.
Form nearly identical and it is 12 inches in diameter.

I posted Alfred C on the end and I believe dead center in the infamous bed " B " , I know the plant on the end has bloomed like crazy but do not recall seeing the other , will have to look tomorrow while I'm there . Mom says she really likes it as she can see It and a couple plants of HH Big Red really well from her kitchen table .
Here is another that mom really seems to like , she has to use a walker to get about and makes daily journeys out and around the dahlia beds there as part of her rehabilitation and to pick out her favorites

B. Sterling has pretty colors. I love them but sometimes I wonder if others appreciate these "old fashioned" dahlia colors of lavender and dark pink teamed with various shades of white. I love those colors but worry that Cafe' au Lait colors are all the rage now. No Cafe' au Lait in my garden and maybe I should make a garden sign that says something like: "Do not look for Cafe; au Lait in this garden . We have declared our garden to be Cafe' au Lait free zone."
I find that all kinds of people like all kinds of dahlia colors. Where as this might not be popular for a wedding...and not saying it won't... but it might be just what someone else is looking for for an anniversary or just because they love it. And the reason it is not as popular for weddings is that we are all being manipulated by Brides Magazine(s) and growers like Floret. Take it from me, as the mother of a soon to be bride, they look at the popular Bridal Magazines and what they see is what they want. No other reason I can think of that every bride we have provided flowers for has wanted apricot/peach this season..., whether as the main color or as part of the mix of colors...

HH RPT was much more popular in tuber sales than I expected. I grow only a few plants of it and it looked really good this year. I have never shown it but I bet it would do well.
