Lovely Benny! I love those intense colors.
Aha! Yes, rather different, Sylvia. Probably the effect of more heat and sun.

Sylvia, on the PC note I would ditch IE and use Chrome or Firefox. They are both free. May solve your problem. IE no longer dominates the browser scene, probably for reasons.

Very nice pink one. Would look great in a bouquet.
Oh wow! Where did a get that pretty thing Benny?!!!
It looks much pinker then mine but we have had a lot of hot sunny weather. I picked 5 for market this weekend off of 3 plants. It doesn't make a lot at one time but they are big and show offy and always a lot of buds coming on in various stages. I like them best in evening light...didn't know it would be that way when I named it Evening Glow. THat was just because it reminded me of sun breaking through the clouds as it goes down.

What are the measurements? This sounds a lot like a teen age boy getting the measurements of his favorite movie stars. 36-24-36
5" across? You better feed that kid! I would guess that mine is 7" across and 5" deep but I am too darned tired to go out and measure it. I am also guessing that mine is about 5.5 to 6'. Sure is interesting how different they grow in different circumstances and climates!

HH Summerwine is a seedling of Lakeview Glow and inherited the trait from it for lots of flowers. It did not inherit the height of 4 feet but is instead about 5 feet tall. I believe you will find that it is a good cut flower.

It is right about 5' tall here and the blooms are held up well above the foliage without any help from me , Lakeview Glow likes to bloom down in the bush here .
I am finding Summerwine an excellent cut flower. The color has just a touch of energy which it adds to bouquets. I could use more flowers like this! I wonder if it would like to cross with some of my others ..those are all good traits.

Summer Wine looks great. Its going on my wish list.
I have Lakeview glow for the first time this year - and yeah it one that would work well in a perennial border, but sure gets lost in my dahlia beds. Pretty little flowers though, and plenty of them.
I am having the same issue with Hilltop Emily. I really like the flowers, but its quite a short plant with short stems.
I am trying to keep track of all of the shorter ones this year, and think they will go into one of the raised beds next year, if I keep them. I am veery bad about checking supposed plant height on new ones that I plant, and to often they can get buried in my jungle.
Haven't had a bloom off Hillcrest Jonathan yet, as it is smack in the middle of my deepest bed and is half the height of everything that surrounds it. It does have buds, and I hope will have storable tubers for next year.
