Pictures with and without penny. I like the without but the penny picture does convey some information about size and color.

Love the color, and at least the penny is being useful in this context.

From 2006 and this design won only a second place. It is one of my all time favorites. None of the flowers in it are still in existence and were seedlings. I wish I could go back in time and rescue some of them.

Orange one with penny on it will be sold next year. Very nice, bright, productive, vigorous. 5 foot tall cut flower, 5 inch diameter, good stems and it makes plenty of tubers. I need to get Margaret to name it.

I am hoping to have enough of 1735 to sell this year. Margaret has to name it. I have divided only some of the clumps and it is not a prolific tuber maker. I grew quite a few plants of it and that may make up for the below average number of tubers. The picture is what it looks like and it grows a bit less than 4 feet tall.
I sure hope I can get one of those too! I would be glad to work at propagating more of those. My new neighbor is a cut flower seller so I hope we can work out some kind of co-operative deal where I can introduce her to great plants and maybe grow some of them and she can arrange and sell them. I was just joking with my husband that she could be my Wwoofer...Just like the young people I have been teaching organic growing too over the seasons.

Now it has a name: Hollyhill Bashful
Selecting names with Margaret is worse than pulling teeth from a large African Lion.

Ted, does the orange beauty (above with penny) have a name yet?

The very nice cut flower above with the penny is currently named 18-20. Had you spent the several hours with Margaret today naming the new releases for 2020, you would understand why the 2021 release may not be named real soon. I wanted to name it Halloween but she rejected it because she pronounces Halloween as "Hollow-ween" and I pronounce it "Hallow- ween" and she says when I would say the name wrong, it would irritate her.
It is a super nice cut flower and makes lots of tubers but not quite enough to release a year early.
Meanwhlie, this one now has a name:
Hollyhill Wicked Witch
WL variegated in the dark colors of a witches brew,. 2020 release.
I love the names you DO come up with! I must have Wicked Witch! Bashful...great name for that sweet one!

You could call it "Hollyhill Beaver State"and sell a million to all the OSU fans out there!

I took this picture at a show and only one of the flowers was in focus. So I have blurred all of them .

Ginger Clack put together a basket with very light colored greens. The variety is listed as Donnell Fay with a note that it is in the 2010 classification book.
