The medium laciniated pink one is especially pretty this week. and the golden stellar with red speckles is pretty cute.

Lovely! I tried unsuccessfully to buy that one from Floret. Perhaps another similar one will come down the pike with better tubers.

I finally got out to the garden with camera in hand. Its been a while coming,but the Japanese Beetles decimated the first blooms, anyways.
Rivers Rosebud quickly becoming my favorite red again this year... thanks, Noni, for this great 2016 trade. I did loads of cuttings of this one, and have them in three dahlia beds, tucked in here and there.
Camano Mordor is SO seductive with the moody color combo. More of a raspberry on the outer petals then shows in the image. I'm growing it in shade again this year, as it can get washed out in the sun.
Bloomquist Harmony is one I will pass on next year... its smoky colors just resemble muddy waters to me. Sorry, smokey-lovers out there.
Robin Hood is what I'd consider a smoky blend, and I like this one. Sadly, I yanked three plants after taking this image, as all had mild virus signs. Didn't want to risk the neighbors picking up it's illness.
AC Sheri will be getting closer scrutiny, to see if future blooms have better form and color consistency. I like it alright, but I need to see more.
Monet Glory, glorious as ever. She was the first to bloom for me.
Tahoma Vivian was the second to bloom for me, and I can't get enough of the form and coloration. Just lovely. (More of a burnt orange on the outer petals.)
Hapet Perfekt was supposed to be Kenora Pepperment, and I'm pretty bummed about this mislabel. I wouldn't have chosen this to grow, as the color combo doesn't wow me and I'm cutting back on Lac.
I absolutely love Ruskin Andrea... she's a delight, with the dark picotee edges and crisp petals. This is the third year I've grown it, and won't be the last.

CC, thanks for a dose of RIver's Rosebud! My one survivor is finally starting to grow nicely.....It's going to make it! It just took some time to get from the tiny-tuber stage to this...when it gets big enough to shade the drip-tubing near it I will take cuttings and tuck them into the damp area. I am having good luck with that so far on others I could use more of. I would be glad to take Bl Harmony off your hands next season . Everyone who has come to see my garden has gone into raptures over my "Smoky" row. I'll be keen on them again when the actual forest fire smoke clears from our air! .

Sorry the two pot tubers I sent you were slow... the third same-sized tuber did really well for me, pacing the cuttings taken at the same time. Maybe the shipping shocked them back a pace.
I'll put you down for BQ Harmony in my notes... there's been at least six blooms on it so far, so it should be good for a cutting garden in that regard.
I don't think it was your fault about the slowness, CC. My guess now is that the one that disappeared was dug up by a raccoon, now that my husband says he sometimes sees coon tracks in the garden in the early morning. The other one...maybe not enough moisture while we were getting the drip tape fine tuned...(Still not completely fine tuned) but the good news is that it is growing and looks healthy and I think I will get blooms this season. Remember our season often goes through to Nov 1 if it doesn't frost sometime the week before. Where as I hope to get blooms this season, it is even more important to get tubers.and or pot tubers.

Yeah I think I over-tweaked the photo. I usually have a pretty clear memory of the shade of colors of the blooms but that one got lost in translating it lighting-wise.
