Picture of a seedling, It could have been very nice but several florets are chewed off in the upper right section.

I liked this picture of a 2017 seedling. I have no recollection of taking the picture and have no idea what seedling it is. I looked through our seedling records and one flower may be the one and it is out of HH Gordon. Oh well, the picture looks nice. Cubits does not always show pictures at full size. I like it better when it fills the screen and it is supposed to be 19 inches wide.

Lovely, clear color. Hope it delivers for years to come.

This fact probably has little to do with taking pictures of dahlias but some may find it interesting. If you are thinking about getting a high end video card for your computer or new computer, you will have to pay an awful lot of money if you can even find one. The Bitcoin miners have been buying up all of the upper end video cards and are willing to pay very high prices for them. And do not think you can find a used one either as they have been "driven hard and put away wet" to use the old saying. They wear them out and sell them to unsuspecting customers. One solution is to make sure that the new computer main board has a video card built in and that it is good enough for what you want to do. My son put together a new computer a year ago and would not pay the huge price for a good video card. He thought the prices would come down and they have not. So he has a huge, expensive new monitor and an old video card that cannot put the improved images onto the screen. He says my two year old video card is worth more used than what I paid for it new.
Ted, really like the yellow/peachy/orange blend on the bottom/left-hand corner. Was that variety available this year and I missed it? Available next year?

I love that picture too. I believe that the gopher ate that one and it is lost forever.

Damn gophers! Strange, they like to pop-up around the perimeter of my raised beds, but fortunately (so far - fingers crossed) they haven't bothered the plants. Notice they always come up after a deep watering.
