the next 5 are of the same entry, a lovely deep pink WL...the only WL I have seen there. One plant is in full bloom, one had a first bloom opening on Thurs, and one with luck might have popped a bloom before the judging today. Its a lovely LARGE wl! :-)
It was a labor of love, Ted. No way anyone would make me do that if I didn't want to! And yeh, it gave me fits and many false starts but I was determined have adopted our Test Garden as one of my children
Also just edited it to take out many repeats. With each variety, 3 bushes of it are entered. Sometimes one is definitely faulty or even the wrong one so I tried to show different shots to show when a problem was obvious. IN at least 2 cases I know they won't win because the 3 plants are not consistent or even the same variety. IN one there were 2 solid stellars and one with cute variegations. It was difficult posting because my computer wasn't saving the identifications I assigned to the photos so I could only look at a long string of numbers in the photo program. Needs work, for sure!
OK, pick out your favorite ones and from now on I will just track those plus my favorites. And yes, there are certain ones I will be watching for when they hit the market. Off to the Kitsap show today to see what else is new and beautiful and check out what my local dahlia peeps are doing.

Oh my gosh, Noni! Thanks for sharing all these pictures! So fun to look through!
Darcy, I totally agree with your choices! I have a few more that are favorites, probably mostly in the formal dec, ball, mball ones., and the single WL. But yes, you seem to have similar taste. Lets see which ones the others like now :-)
Hmmm, My comment to CC seems to have not made it over the border onto the page .Yes, I think all those you picked are consistently beautiful in the garden and hope we can find the sources to buy them. I have my guesses where both the Hollyhills and AC dahlias are but haven't picked out Boley ones this year. Anyone else want to venture a guess? I wonder if they sent any here this time.
Speaking of which my Sandia Candycorn from last year started blooming. I took the first bloom to market with me yesterday and it held up in the heat better then many of the other wl ones I had with me. It hasn't quite hit its stride yet but should this week. Warbonnet and Ms LIsa are coming but haven't bloomed yet. I had the first two blooms off Blackhart that set from starting early , then it has been at work building a good bush. Hopefully more blooms will be along soon, especially if we get the fertilizing done this week.
