OOOh, I didn't get AC JC. None of my big ones are ready to bloom yet. Apparently I have lost AC Lion. It started out OK but the growth has dwindled away. It may have gotten too dry while we were working on the drip tape. I left it in the ground but don't have high hopes for another sprout. I bought AC Skagit and Big Mary as well but was hoping to try crossing AC Lion with my Evening Glow. Now I have lost both AC SKagit and HH BIg Pink that were to go with it. Hopefully HH Moonsong will make it but it is growing very slowly.

AC Freebird has been exceptional with each wave of bloon. Gorgeous, big deep red. Everyone comments on this one!
Hmmm, new Hamari Rose appears to be red violet. It is from Red Hawk. It isn't really this color is it? I thought it was a nice light rose pink.

Name: Ted Oregon We enjoy breeding new dahlias!
Hamari Rose is an old time show flower bred in the UK. It never has never been very popular here in the USA. Sir Richard is similar and better.

I gave up on Hamari Rose last year. It seemed like it had to be coddled to produce a very few average blooms. It got tossed.

I am amazed at the amount of buds/flowers on your Kenora Jubilee!. My A sized blooms are never close to that floriferous. If I have 3-4 at a time I am delighted.
I finally spotted buds forming on a few plants here, I am way behind but eventually I will have flowers.
Pretty sure what I have as Hamari Rose is NOT Hamari Rose. Lets hope it has a better track record. So far it is very clear red violet and now half open.
And here is the wonderful Tall Firs Keltie and Ken's Rarity. THis is the first Ken's Rarity I have had do well for me and I love it!it! Ken's Rarity (corrected from mis-name)
Tall First Keltie
Oh that looks so beautiful and healthy! The last time I had one of these it was badly virused and I have not tried replacing it, but If I had one that pretty it would be a good idea to grow it again.
